Hefei is a modern city with inspiring architecture, but it also has areas where you can have a break. The picture shows one of the symbols of Hefei, which can be seen on many posters around the city \u2013 a windmill in the Baohe district of Hefei. The area is flooded with flowers of many species and colors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because of the pandemic, I haven\u2019t been able to stay in Hefei for a long time. But the thing that stays in my memory, are people. And people of Hefei are what made my stay unique and worthy. The city may change, but friendship and memories last \u2013 and this is the case for people, that I met in Hefei. I wouldn\u2019t be able to visit this place and take this picture, if not for my friends from Hefei. Hopefully one day I\u2019ll be able to return and discover more of the culture that Hefei has.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hefei embraces modern inclusiveness and traditional simplicity. Time and customs are accumulated here. Huan-Chaohu avenue is the longest scenic road in Hefei, where you can view the beautiful landscape, the avenue extends itself along the Chaohu lake (<\/span>\u5de2\u6e56<\/span>) and embraces the new era of harmonious co-existence between humans and nature.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The city features advanced scientific research strength and astonishing ability in pioneering technology and innovations. Internationalization is a crucial instrument for the swift socio-economic development of a city. \u201c<\/span>Once a year, go someplace you\u2019ve never been before.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There are so many tourist spots in and around Hefei; some of them have scenic beauty and some have an architectural background. Sanhe Village is a combination of both, a feature which compelled me to visit this beautiful town. Named upon its three splendid rivers Fengle, Hangfu, and Xiaonan, Sanhe Village is a 2500-year-old ancient town which is situated at a distance of 32 kilometers away from Hefei. The town is not only full of natural beauty but also witnesses the analytical and artistic skills of the Ming and Qing dynasties.<\/span><\/p>\n

When I stepped into Sanhe Village, I was hit by the tranquility of nature. I was wonderstruck to see the crystal-clear water of rivers along with vivid water plants, decorated boats seemed to me like ancient culture floating on the surface of water further beautifying the amicability of rivers, and the highness of Wangyue Pagoda was giving an architectural glimpse. Characterized with streets made of slate which shines even after thousands of years, walls built with black bricks, beautifully-painted rafters, and ancient bridges, this city is full of cultural landscapes and will forever be in my living memory.<\/span><\/p>\n
